Learning is its own reward. There are no bonuses for these Ranks. These to determine what the player can learn through out the game. Realize that some of these can be limiting if not bought and as such certain ranks will disappear from those without high enough basics.
Preschool

This is a plateau level where many of the triggers will be set. If you buy below this level, then some of the triggers that are set may not trigger and thus you may not be able to buy what you are looking for. These plateaus are all through the ranks and will look very similar to this one.
