More of a peasant style of fighting and made for those that have little to no weapons. This style is made for those that have no formal training and that can learn this with the greatest of ease, in comparison to the other fighting styles. This style was learned for the sake of defending the peasants against the more powerful highway men, robbers, thugs, etc.

It is more of a boxing style than anything else and does use foot work, but mostly the hands and feet. All Soldiers are required to learn this before they can even go out into the field. This style of fighting can be learned in a very short time and will help with normal physical attacks, but not much else. That is, until you add the Daai.

The Daai gets pumped into this style of fighting and pushes the fighter to their limits. This allows them much more strength, durability, etc. for the fighter for a short time and also, due to the style of the fighting, allows them to defend against a large amount of mental attacks for that period of time. It will also help against some energies as well, but it depends on the style that is learned as there are many different styles o f Rikindal that have been taught over the years.

This is the most common style of fighting for the common person and will be learned by anyone that serves in any capacity of soldering, or being near nobles. It is taught so that the user can have a fighting chance against other races, sects, etc. Once learned, this style will help the user to avoid harming themselves when they fall, are hit, or just take normal damage from most attacks. It will actually help the user to flow with the damage to avoid doing even worse damage.

Note: Rikindal was the bases of many of the current fighting styles in all common person’s homes. Thus anyone on the planet that has been trained in a fighting style will have a root knowledge of this fighting style as well.

Note 2: This is the basis of the Vigatozo style of fighting, which would later be turned into the Vigato, which terrorizes populaces everywhere as one fo the major assassins on the planet. (See Vigatozo.)
