The Trans-Channeler is the most powerful of all the Supernatural/Preternatural abilities. Due to its nature, though, it is rarely seen and even more rarely seen in action. Those that posses this ability have to be born with it. There is no way of granting this ability, like most of the others, due to the fact that it would drive a normal mortal insane within seconds if their minds were not already prepared for it from birth. Even the Suprema have issues with granting this ability due to its nature and that of the drawbacks involved. The mental strain on a character like this will nearly always drive them insane and the abilities that can flow through them will endanger their health, or worse, kill them outright, if they do not have a high enough defense, shock, etc. to keep from being overwhelmed. This is so rare that many believe it to be nothing more than a legendary story. That of folk tales and the like.

The Trans-Channelers of history are written off as Mediums with high abilities and considered insane. Thus, not much is known of the Trans-Channeler in depth. What is known is that they can “borrow” abilities like that of the Medium, but on a much higher level. The user can borrow even powers, talents, abilities from higher beings, demons, angles, etc. without the knowledge of the higher being. They can, from myth, channel a vast amount of these abilities through themselves and learn them as they are doing so. Their abilities reach to the farthest reaches of the planets and beyond. Due to their abilities, it is said that they can actually use powers, abilities, etc. from Suprema in their travels if they ever come across one. Once they are within 6 feet of any being, they can borrow their abilities from that moment forward. It is said that some even have the talent to do this with anything the higher being has ever touched. (Some ancient passages suggest that Covent was the first Trans-Channeler and his power derives from that. Though many don’t even believe in Covent so this is regarded with great skepticism.) The ancient texts speak of these users as “Supre Malds Among Mortals” and regard them as some sort of savior or destroyer in every instance. Thus the thought that they may not be truly real since there is never a Trans-Channeler that is not one or the other. It is believed that, due to their nature, the Trans-Channeler can not be held to a single Persona and as such will take on the attributes of whichever Persona they are most feeling at the time. This would, if it be true, hold them to most of the rules within that Persona at the time they are within it, but would easily slip away once their mood changes. (Thus, if one were upset at the moment, but not truly pissed off, they would be within the Persona range of Impartial to Callous, but if the person apologized to them for the incident, they may move up the spectrum to Open-Minded or even Warm Hearted. However, if the person pushed the issue and pissed them off, the Person of the user may well move down the spectrum to Sociopathic or even Afreetious. They would follow the Persona very closely at the time they were feeling it. If this truly be the case, then they would be able to kill someone in one heartbeat and be very ashamed of it in the next. It would be very hard for them to stay stable in one way or the other and they would have to constantly keep themselves within the spectrum from Even-Handed to Impartial or they might go off and kill someone without meaning to, or they might defend someone that they were not intending to. If a being were to actually exist in this manner, they would be considered bi-polar to say the least, but their abilities would fluctuate with their moods. This would be an extremely scary character. Not to mention unstable and possibly insane of their own right.) (See Persona)

Note: The Trans-Channeler can not be the target of any type of mind control due to their nature. Due to this they would not be able to be hypnotized rather for good or ill. They would not be able to be swayed by mood music using Bardian skills. They would simply have to slip back into their own moods naturally.

Note 2: Due to their abilities, they can see in virtually all spectrums of spiritual sight. This means that they can see spirits, God-Slayers, demons, angles, and the like. They will be constantly hounded if they don’t ignore these beings and will even have to fight God-Slayers if the show that they can see them. (Often they can talk their way out of these fights by convincing the God-Slayer that they are not truly a god. Most of the time this will work. Not always.) (See God-Slayers.)

Note 3: Their access to each power that is used when Channeling someone or something, will be limited to the powers that the being actually possess. However, these powers, when used over time, will begin to imprint on the user and they will gain these abilities to varying degrees on a permanent basis. (This does take a lot of use and will affect the character in the long run.)

Note 4: When the Trans-Channeler takes on an ability from any being, they take on the Persona of that being as well. (Much like the Medium). However, they do not lose this Persona when they cease the channeling and it will stay with them for an indiscriminate time after they stop using it. The longer they use the ability, the longer the Persona will stay.

Note 5: All Trans-Channelers are Non-Viable Persona at birth. This makes it so that their Persona changes with their mood, as stated above. The interesting part is that only those with this ability have ever possessed the Non-Viable Persona.

Note 6: If a Trans-Channeler is near big cities, they can hear the souls of all within the city and it is like a constant buzzing in their heads. This can cause them to go mad if they don’t learn to block it out. Once they are near any being, at all, they can pick up the traits, abilities, etc. of that being and use them for themselves. The longer they travel with someone, the more they will gain their powers and abilities. Over time, they can have the same level of abilities, at the same control as the person they are traveling with. If they continue to use those abilities, they will master them as if they spent years learning, even it this only happened over a matter of weeks. Thus, the Trans-Channeler can, one day, master every ability within the spectrums of power.
