Electric Energy

This is a common energy but has many different levels to it so those that use it can range from Godly to gnat. This energy is used by many, but few can truly harness its true power. Those that can are on par with any of the other energies, save Metophic and Cosmic, though a few have reached near Cosmic levels as well.

Electric Energy is used in eight different ways and can be mastered as such.

1. Static Electricity – Allows the user to build up low levels of electricity within their bodies and push it out like a simple shock. That said, this is much greater than just rubbing ones feet on the carpet. This user can build up enough energy to destroy doors, melt some metals, kill most mortals and even power small devices. The user can build up their energy over long periods of time and, as long as they have not come in contact with anything metal, they can discharge there energy into a small bolt. The user must touch the item, or very nearly touch it, to deal any damage. (If the user touches something metal while charging, the charge will be displaced at the metal object. This will cause a backlash to the user and deal ½ the damage they have saved up.)

2. Electro Bolts – Allows the user to fire bolts of energy from their hands. These bolts can get up to 600 joules per attack. These bolts will vary in power as per how much power the user has. The user can augment these bolts to a degree and make them up to 1000 joules per attack if they choose to pump extra energy into them.

3. Voltage – Allows the user to hold a certain amount of electricity for a prolonged amount of time. This is great for arch wielding, powering technologies, and the like. This can also be used as an attack where the user fires the bolt up to twenty feet away and holds the arch for as long as they can sustain the energy. This is not a great weapon, however, due to the fact that aiming it is very hard if the target is moving in the slightest. This is usually used for architecture.

4. Electrofy – Allows the user to send electricity through their bodies in a constant current where they can choose to raise or lower the current at their will. The current can go as high as their body will allow, which is different for each of these users. The Master can turn this up the 9000 joules per second. This is an extremely powerful ability if the user is trained in any martial arts. For distance fighting, this ability is less than effective.

5. Electric Shields – Allows the user to place small shields in a given area made of pure electricity. This is great for capturing and controlling the enemy and for defending people as well. If the shield is touched from the inside or the outside, the victim will be shocked with whatever joules were pumped into the shields. The Master of this ability can place upwards of 10000 joules into a single shield.

6. Electric Shots – Allows the user to fire short lightning bolts across a distance of up the 1 mile. These are not extremely powerful but are able to deal damage from a great distance. The user can also pump more energy into the shots before sending them.

7. Electro Waves – Allows the user to fire waves of Electric Energy out of their fingers in whichever direction they are pointing. These waves can get much more powerful than the shots but do not have the same distance as they can only fire up to a quarter mile from the user. The damage, however, can be extremely devastating as a full Lightning Bolt but the user can keep the wave going for as long as they have will. (This will begin to drain will at an alarming rate as the will drain will double for ever round after the second.)

8. Electric Manipulation – Allows the user to wield Electricity as if it were an extension of their own bodies. They can pick things up with it, though most things will be destroyed at the touch. They can use any of the above abilities, but have much greater mastery over them than their normal users. The manipulator can alter the current of an attack to deal as much or as little damage as they have in their arsenal. This is very helpful if they are firing into a crowd and only want to harm certain people. Everyone will take damage, but that damage can be reduced to 1 for those that the users chooses not to damage. However, this take an alarming amount of focus and will drain will as if every avoidance were an action. (The most powerful among this type of user once destroyed an entire city without harming a single person inside. The city walls, ground, etc. all cracked and crumbled and most of the houses, buildings, etc. were reduced to smoldering piles of rubble, but the user never hit a single sole with more than 1 pts. of damage.

The Electric Energy user has issues with water of any sort. Due to this, most of them will turn their powers down to nothing before bathing, swimming, etc. If they are in water when using their abilities, or victim has water on them, the damage will double or triple depending on the attack, and the user can no longer target as the attack will become an area attack. Due to this, if someone is hit that the user did not wish to be hit, the user can not alter the attack, it will deal all of its damage as though that were the intended target.

Note: Electric Energy users can pull energy from anything that uses electricity, however, when they are close to unconsciousness, they will do this without regard or conscious thought. Usually destroying the thing they are pulling from due to the power surge.

Note 2: The most powerful of these users can actually use the currents of electricity to “ride” on. This will move them along the path of the current and gives them a way of transportation over short distances. This also allows them to move at phenomenal speeds. They can also use this trick in their punches or kicks but to a much smaller degree.
