Wind Energy

This is considered one of the weaker of the twelve energies, but can actually turn out to be one of the more powerful, in the right hands. Due to its nature, stealth is not something that is common with a Wind Energy user. However, if used properly, the user can be stealthful enough to get their victims right where they need them for an attack.

The Wind Energy user can alter the force of wind from a massive area and turn that wind into anything from a cool breeze to a howling tornado in a relatively short amount of time. Most, though, will use the winds to ride upon to get them and those that travel with them from point A to point B as quickly as possible. They will use the wind to defend themselves from enemies. Most of the time the Wind Energy user is defensive in their stance and waits on their opponents to attack and then use the attack against them. There are some, however, that have mastered the art of the wind to be able to use it in massive attacks.

The most powerful of all Wind Energy users was the Supre Mald Denasia, who was able to ride the winds, throw concentrated spheres of wind that would explode on impact, pin things down with just the wind and much more. Using her knowledge of Wind Energy, she was able to take on many opponents that used even Cosmic Energies. She was eventually defeated in the battle of Cross Roads and killed by Degon Melaney. Her teaching lives on, however, and there is an entire school that trains those with the talent in these abilities. There are four different types of Wind Manipulation that the user can master. Some even master all of them.

1. Wind Burst – Allows the user to fire short bursts of wind at the opponent. These bursts can get up to 180 mph in a very short time. The strongest of these bursts are usually 200 mph, but happen so quickly that it sounds like a gun going off and anything in front of the user will be thrown back by the force. This can not be targeted and will deal damage to anything it hits.

2. Wind Tunnel – Allows the user to bring forth wind over a short period of time, much longer than the Burst but much shorter than natural winds, and push them toward an opponent. When these winds reach 100 mph, they are forced through a small tunnel that leads to wherever the user is focusing and will only affect the area the user is trying to affect. Anything in that tunnel will be hit with the winds. This user can not get to the 200 mph, but can get very close, sometimes up to 180 mph winds and can keep them going for as long as they have the will pts. to do so.

3. Wind Hammer – Allows the user to control winds in such a way as to force them into a single spot within their eye sight. This spot will be pummeled by the wind until the user decides to stop or runs out of will pts. The user can get the winds in excess of 250 mph. and hold them there for as long as they have the pts. to continue. Most of this line of training will move their spot along a certain path to pickup as much debris as possible and then on to the point that they are trying to attack. Thus the debris will continuously hit the spot over and over until they are destroyed, the winds stops, or the victim is destroyed.

4. Wind Manipulation – The most dangerous and hardest of all Wind Energy users, this person can manipulate the wind to his/her own will. This means they can have the wind from there shoulder to their fist strike up and rush at 300+ mph as they are punching someone. The punch would be the force of the attack, plus the wind attack, but it would not be obvious that the attack even happened, until it was done. Defending against an attack like this would be very hard. These users are the wind riders and the tornado shapers. They can manipulate wind so well as to cause clouds to press down from on high and cover the land in fog. Or move the sandstorm above the ground by twenty feet to be able to avoid being pelted. They have even been known to use wind as a shield, getting the shield up to 450 mph around their bodies, but this is rare for it deals damage to anything that might get too lose.

Wind Energy users are rarely obvious with their abilities and try to keep people from realizing they even have them, until they have to use them. Most will go so far as moving the wind covertly to avoid anyone knowing their power. It’s actually part of their training.

Note: A Wind Energy user that wishes to stop something like a tornado, will have to spend the energy and will to do so at its highest level first, thus jarring them and dealing them damage. This is why most will not try to stop a tornado, but rather will create a second tornado going the opposite direction, which will eventually sputter both of them out. This is due to the fact that Wind Energy can’t simply be stopped but must be brought to a slow. An attack dealt by the user can not simply be dissipated at the last second. Once thrown, the power will continue until it naturally stops or an outside force stops it.
