Cindar
Summary of Race
The Cindar are a reclusive race that often keep to themselves in the large caves and caverns of Mt. Spidrix and the Propellian Mountains. Using their innate ability to wield red magic and fire, they can form the rock under the mountains to fit their own needs. The civilizations in either of these places range from the hundreds of thousands to the millions, though no real count has been made.
The Cindar follow a strict belief system and as such do not usually have contact with the outside world, but they have sent a few emissaries to learn the outside cultures. Those that are sent are usually the most powerful or the most genius of all the race in the hopes that they will be able to learn as much as possible without losing their lives.
They are also connected directly with Red Magic and some are able to grant wishes, though it is rare and much less than that of the Gen. The Cindar are considered the offspring of the Gen, but that has never been proven.

Social Structure
The Cindar are ruled by a single Balathon, or holy man that speaks directly to the two divine. The Balathon has complete control of all the people and all things that happen have to go through him and his church. His church controls all things within the society.
All things, that is, except during the times of war. During this time the Ahlathon takes over the government and will be in charge until the war is completed. The Balathon will take a backseat to the Ahlathon, but will still be the direct council to the two divine. Thus Balathon doesn’t lose his power, it is simply set aside until the war is completed. All social orders still go through the Balathon.
As for those that are “commoners” the cities are structured for defense and not for commerce so life is much harder than it truly needs to be. At night, the different parts of the city are sealed off with massive rocks and none can leave. During the moonlight hours, the rocks are removed and the society may go about working for the uplifting of the divine. Which amounts to digging all day for a measly pay and giving the church 50% of all the earnings, then paying 10% to the army and then 10% on taxes, keeping all of the society low on money and highly needing help from the church.
Technology
Technology is disallowed to all commoners within the cities. Cindars view technology as evil and often will shun its use at every turn. However, those of the church will use technology as they will. Usually to ensure that they look more powerful than they truly are. Also, it is used in religious ceremony to ensure that everyone sees the church, and the two divine, as extremely powerful and beautiful.
Religion
The Balathon is the speaker of Divnogala, who is the wife of Dothlivor. When speaking with Divnogala, the Balathon goes into a holy space in the city where none are allowed to enter and speak directly with their deity. If the people displease the two deities, then the Balathon will be crushed in the holy space and a new Balathon will be appointed by a lottery that picks between all nobles.
Divnogala is the goddess of fire and is extremely powerful with Red Magic. She has pyrotechnics, an extremely powerful mental ability to control fire as well. She is very merciful and often will overlook mistakes that her followers make that should have been punished. But once she has lost her temper, she has been known to destroy entire halves of the city.
Dothlivor is said to be one of the last Genosphey in existence. If this be true, then he has the power to grant wishes and alter the cosmos with only his thoughts. He is a generous deity to the Cindar, but hates all other races. He rarely speaks directly with any mortals and always goes through his wife to get his will done. However, he does choose one Cindar of every generation to be his emissary and as such this Cindar will have six times more power than the great Balathon himself.
Base Persona
Cindar are Fair in their Persona. They are very suspicious of other races, but will always do their best to remain fair in their thinking.
Interesting Racial Things
The Cindar are considered the offspring of the Gen. As such they have collected many different types of artifacts that came to the Probe when the Gensosphey which escaped the great tearing, made it to the Probe. Many of these items are of such power that they can take on the gods themselves but few of the Cindars understand how they work. Many of these things are considered holy items.
Note: Cindars don’t need torches because they have a glow about them that lights the caverns around them. The light is soft and can be turned off, but it takes concentration to keep the glow away.
