Orange Magic Paragraph 1
After the great debacle with the Genosphey and their splitting, the First was presented with an issue. There were a lot of creations and having them all together was getting many of the lesser beings at a distinct disadvantage. Many of his creations were nothing more than animals that would roam around on a specific cycle and feed on one another. He had finally found a way to make them stop their cycle (death), but was not having another issue where those that were at the top of the food chain were literally destroying the rest of the planet. Atherie as it was called, was going to have nothing on it and be a large wasteland within a few centuries. This was not what he had planned.
Orange Magic Paragraph 2
So the First set out to find a new place for these beings to live. Using the machine that was created by the Second, he was trying to figure out how to make another creation like Atherie. There were no blue prints for making such large scale masses and everything he found in the blue prints were befuddling to him. His brother was the only one that could make since of them and he was in a comma. After many years of searching, he came across the answer. The machine needed to be turned on, but there was nothing showing what the key might be. There was, however, a passage that told of what he must do.
Orange Magic Paragraph 3
He began taking creations, one at a time, and trying to place them into the machine to see if they could get it started. Most of these were a failure. It was many years before he could finally find his first success. A girl name Rose, an Occulus, was placed into the machine and the parts began to hum to life. Nothing much else happened, but Rose came out with new abilities. Now, there were a lot of trial and errors here, but by the time she got to Rose, the First had found that he had to use his brother’s blood to infuse into the Occulus so that they didn’t turn into a puddle of goo when entering the machine. Another issue arose as well. When Rose left the machine, she didn’t remember anything about it. All of this is told in the stories of Atherie so we won’t go into too much detail here. (See Chronicles of Atherie.)
Orange Magic Paragraph 4
After a few more tries, he finally found the “key” that he was looking for and the machine started. It wasn’t at a hundred percent, but it was running and things were beginning to take shape. Due to the “key’s” involvement in the machine, thousands of creations started springing up and the First had places to put his creations. Not only that, the machine was actually “creating” its own creations as well. The First was not only surprised, he was also a bit amused at his own mistake. He didn’t have to create anything, as the machine would have done it all.
Orange Magic Paragraph 5
During this time, the creation of the different Cosmos throughout the millions of multi-verses, was caused by the power of the machine. This power came in the form of Metophic energy, but gave off a by product known as Orange Magic. This magic, so powerful as to create and destroy at the same time, was infused in virtually everything in every cosmos. Nothing was created or destroyed from the Cosmos that wasn’t part of this magic. It wasn’t sentient like some of the other magics, but it was at the same time. In this case, Orange Magic seems to guide others into citations and then through them for its benefit. Though this is still just a speculation.
Orange Magic Paragraph 6
Very stable and immensely powerful, the downfall of Orange is in the fact that this magic is made for creation or destruction and not for defense. A user of this magic will have a hard time erecting shields, healing directly or attacking a single target. The focus of this magic is amazingly low. Using it against a vast amount of opponents, however, is something that this magic is more than capable of. A single user can fight an entire army as long as their control remains fixed and they have enough minions to take any hits coming their way.
Orange Magic Paragraph 7
Orange Magic is a manna hog, though, and is usually very costly. Also, when using Orange, the user has to be very careful because if a spell needs more manna pumped into it to complete a spell, it will simply take from the user whatever it needs. Often that is the life of the user. This magic can heal, and heal greatly, but it doesn’t heal on a single scale. Thus if a person is trying to heal a single person, they may find that the person is healed of every ailment on the probe, making them immortal, or they may be healed in a much worse way, making their body actually collapse in on itself as it’s antibodies see everything, including organs, as a threat. So the Orange user must be immensely powerful and focused to even do the simplest of spells.
