Vigatozo

Vigatozo

Main Use : This is a style that can defend against virtually anything on the field in one way or another. Using Daai, the users can actually make a field that defends them, or simply disappear from sight. They can use this for so many different things that a Master is considered a Demi-God.

Vigatozo is banned from most of the societies in the land, as it is a skilled way of death. Vigatozo in Rattilian simply means “Death Hands”. The Vigato are known through the lands as the foremost assassins and often will join the Koltu in their legendary statuses. The Koltu and many of the clans that practice Vigatozo (of which there are 12) will go head to head on an assassination and though the Koltu will usually find a way to win in the end, the Vigato will often give as good as they get.

The Vigoto are brought in as children and trained from the age of about three to the age of twenty five before begin given their first assignment. If they fail that assignment, or any, they are usually dead. If they do survive, however, they will have to regain their honor over the loss or be forever shamed in their societies. (The shamed can’t vote, hold office, be part of the main social status, and often can’t hold certain jobs at all. This will continue through their family until the shame is lifted.)

The Vigatozo started as nothing more than a way to defend the different clans from the outside world and was started form the basic form of Rikindal. This form gave them basis, but was quickly morphed into something most powerful and terrifying.

A Master of Vigatozo can, even if they are normal human without any magic or other abilities, use their abilities to take on even Vampires. (See Vampires.) Those that are Masters with abilities have been able to stand toe to toe with Rattle in a fair fight. (Note: this would be a fair fight from the Rattle, not from the Vigato as they rarely, if ever, fight fairly. It is the use of hidden weapons, deception and misdirection that gives them their upper hand in many fights.)

The Grand Master, Vigando Kilmanthor, once fought three Rattles at once in an exhibition and wound up killing two of them and besting the third, though he could not kill him because he had been wounded far too much to continue. The Rattle yielded when his sword was splintered by an attack from the Grand Master.

Note: The only fighting styles that hold a candle to Vigatozo are Kultarian Zune Fighting, Rattilian Bone Fighting, and Melaney Fighting Styles. Each of which could hold their own against each other in different ways.

Note 2: The Vigoto are considered skilled assassins and are often part of fairy tales that adults tell their children to keep them in bed at night. Wouldn’t do any good to tell the children of the Koltu or Melaney, as both of them are rarely, if ever, seen on the planet. Only the officials even know that the Koltu is real and the Melaney were supposed to have died off years ago.

Note 3: A single Vigoto will have enough weapons hidden within their clothes to arm a small army. They never leave home without at least ten to twenty weapons on them. Even without weapons, however, they would be able to fight virtually anything that came after them as Vigotozo masters are incredible with just hand to hand combat and every Vigoto must be a master before leaving the clan.
