Main Use: Almost 100% offensive, this style can defend against certain attacks, but it is not made for that. It is made so that the user destroys the victim before they get a chance to attack. When used with Daai, this style is devastating enough that those that learn it will have to register themselves with the different cities as lethal weapons if anyone finds out that they have ever even trained.
A Master of this style is considered a Demi-God in their own rite, due to all of the uses of the
style and the Daai combined.
This style of fighting originated in the jungles of Hisska, where the worst of creatures seem to roam. This fighting was made to defeat the opponent with a single attack, or a single combo attack. With each strike, the opponent will take more and more damage, leading to the defeat of the subject. Kultarian Zune is not made for defensive fighting at all and most that learn this will learn another style of fighting to augment their knowledge as it is rare that anyone using this style of fighting can use it without killing their opponent, or being killed themselves.
This is based on the movements of the Razor Back Gro-Ape and the Hisska Cougar. Both creatures are extremely powerful and deadly. The style is actually made to fight those two creatures as well for the way that it strikes. In it, the student or master can strike with open palms or with clawed hands into the center of the opponent and strike with such force as to stop the heart, or break a bone. Even Kalagrims, with the correct training in this style, can strike and deal damage to their opponents. (See Kalagrims.)
Due to its nature, this style is made to incorporate weapons, but can be used with or without them. Adding other talents into this works as well as it is the most fluid style of all the styles and the most deadly.
Using Daai, the Kultarian Zune Fighter can focus their skin to be like armor and their fingers to be like razors, cutting skin and even up to some metals. (One master was able to rip his fingers through solid Lonsdaleite, which is the second hardest material known to the planet. He was even able to shatter a Rattilian bone with his bare hands, though he paid dearly for that unfracture.)
When focused the Kultarian Zune fighter can adjust their bodies to defend virtually any type of attack, though to varying degrees. This style of fighting is used by the Assassins only and will be taught to one person at a time only. When an assassin takes on an apprentice, they will teach them what they know of the style and when they reach the end of their training, the two will fighting. If the apprentice survives the fight, they become a full Assassin. If they do not, then they are simply lost to history. It is a brutal style with no room for error.
Note: This style is known only to the Assassin types, but a variation of it is what the Melaney Fighting Style actually looks like. It is a long standing question of if the Melaney style was copied, or if the Melaney’s learned the Koltarian Zune fighting and adapted it to their bodies.
Note 2: The Koltu use this style of fighting almost exclusively. They will teach a young recruit in the ways of the style and start them on the track, but then will remove all training from them for a time to see what they do with the style themselves. Many have adjusted the style to their own and have come up with a lot of new stances within the style. After a time, the Koltu will grow to trust the recruit and then teach them the next phase of the style. This will continue until they are ready to fight their master and hopefully succeed.
Note 3: It is said that Assassin, herself, uses this style almost exclusively. Due to the fact that nearly everyone she has ever come across has wound up dead, this is not a question that can be answered. (See Assassin.)
